we transform business education
Rich Quad ’90 graduated magna cum laude from UVM, earned his MBA at Cornell and quickly rose through the investment banking ranks. In the early stages of his career, Quad thought he was too busy to devote time to his alma mater. After returning to campus to meet with faculty, advise students and participate in a Careers in Finance panel discussion, Quad decided to magnify the impact of his support through the Grossman Challenge.
To successfully educate graduates who thrive in complex, international, multi-stakeholder and sustainable environments, the Grossman School of Business requires not only passionate faculty and students but a continued and aggressive reinvestment in its programs and facilities. Steven Grossman’s understanding of the resources it takes for a business school to succeed on the global stage, his unwavering commitment to UVM and the Grossman School of Business, plus the increased value of gifts made possible by the Grossman Challenge, were the major reasons why Quad decided to donate.
