The Green Mountain Circle honors and encourages consistent giving to the University of Vermont and celebrates the spirit of philanthropy in each of our loyal alumni, parents, and friends. Like the Green Mountains themselves, Circle members provide dependable, vital resources for the UVM community year after year and inspire greatness in our faculty and students. The Green Mountain Circle symbolizes the unity and continuity of our most devoted donors and recognizes their exceptional commitment to the University of Vermont.
Nearly 10,000 donors have the distinction of being recognized as Green Mountain Circle members. They represent the past and future of UVM through regular annual giving that, in many cases, spans several decades.
Join the Green Mountain Circle
All gifts help to strengthen our proud institution, and the annual gifts of Green Mountain Circle members provide reliable funding to units in virtually every corner of campus. Members are recognized when they have made a gift of any size for three or more consecutive fiscal years to any area of the University. To retain recognition status, members must continue to make gifts each fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
Members of the Green Mountain Circle receive:
- An annual Green Mountain Circle window cling displaying your total years of consistent giving—your number will grow with each consecutive annual gift
- An e-subscription to Impact, the bi-annual UVM Foundation newsletter
- Invitations to select University-hosted events and activities
