In the short time since their graduation, Emily and Philip have organized and energized the alumni community in Seattle, Washington as the UVM Alumni Association Affinity Group leaders in that region.

Together they have hosted over a dozen programs engaging hundreds of alumni on the West Coast. In addition to their volunteer efforts in the event planning realm, they are also active ambassadors for UVM helping to recruit potential students to attend UVM. They are always ready to assist the UVM Alumni Association in any way necessary to help their alma mater be stronger, even 3,000 miles away from campus.

Emily is the director of development for the social services branch of the YMCA of Greater Seattle where she oversees fundraising, marketing and volunteerism. Philip is associate director at M&C Saatchi Mobile, a global digital marketing agency; he helps lead strategy and account services for national and multinational brands.
