Over his 45-year career, Dave shaped the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (PRT) program through both his teaching and his deep commitment to mentoring students as they explored their career paths. He developed and taught courses such as Resort Marketing and Management, Tourism Planning, Entrepreneurship in Recreation and Tourism, Ski Area Management, and Introduction to Sustainable Recreation and Tourism.
Drawing on decades of experience in Vermont's travel and recreation industry, Dave brought real-world insight into the classroom. He helped students connect their academic work to the realities of a dynamic, ever-evolving field - preparing them to lead and innovate in recreation and tourism.
