About the Namesake and Fund
To date, the Greek Life scholarships have provided more than $39,000 in scholarship awards to 16 deserving students. The scholarships benefit students studying to become educators and illustrate the commitment of Greek Life students, alumni, and friends to support the broader University through leadership and philanthropy.
Prominent UVM alumnus John Dewey once said, "Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself."
The Greek Life Scholarships celebrate this belief and are available to any UVM student, regardless of Greek Life affiliation, pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in education who demonstrates financial need.
