Additional information
Coach McEachen helped shape far more than successful teams. He created an environment that challenged student-athletes to compete at a national level while building the discipline, teamwork, and lifelong relationships that extended far beyond the field. Under his leadership, the program traveled across the country and internationally, competed against top-tier opponents, and built one of the most difficult home atmospheres in college soccer. For many former players, their experience under Coach McEachen became one of the most defining chapters of their lives, with lessons and connections that continue to resonate decades later.
Hearing about the establishment of the McEachen Family Fund was deeply meaningful for Coach McEachen himself. Reflecting on the announcement during Hall of Fame Weekend, he shared:
"When Deejae stood up at our gathering during Hall of Fame Weekend and announced that he and the team were establishing the McEachen Family Fund, I was nearly speechless. Our time together over my 11 seasons coaching at UVM was some of the best of my life. I hope you’ll join me with your own gift."
Your support of the McEachen Family Fund will help carry forward the values and experiences that defined generations of Catamount student-athletes, while providing meaningful support for the continued success of UVM Men’s Soccer.
