In her tenure as an alumna, Deb McAneny has worn many hats for UVM including Boston Regional Board member, National Campaign Steering Committee member, reunion chair, class gift chair, UVM Foundation Board of Directors member and Foundation Leadership Council member.

Most notably, Deb served as trustee of the University of Vermont (2004-2016) and as board chair from 2014-2016. During that time she helped guide the University through a presidential transition, keep tuition affordable and launch the largest comprehensive fund-raising campaign in the University's history.

Deb currently serves as lead independent director of HFF, Inc., director of KKR Real Estate Finance Trust, Inc., THL Credit, Inc., RREEF property Trust, Inc., RREEF America REIT II, an advisor to Benchmark Senior Living LLC, trustee of the Rivers School, and is a member of the UVM Foundation Board of Directors. She resides in Southborough, Mass., with her husband, David McAneny, and has three grown children.
