Kristina has dedicated more than two decades of service to the University of Vermont.
As a Vermonter with many ties to the University, Kristina's dedication has enhanced UVM's reputation and benefitted its alumni immensely. During her tenure as president of the Alumni Association Board of Directors, Kristina guided the Association to unparalleled levels of success, launching an affinity engagement program that put UVM at the leading edge of a new alumni engagement strategy that is now a staple in every alumni program across the country.
Under her leadership, engagement and service of alumni from diverse backgrounds grew by 35 percent, alumni volunteers for career programs grew by 230 percent, and the University finished the fundraising and construction of the new UVM Alumni House. From her public support during the establishment of the UVM Foundation through the successful completion of the Move Mountains campaign, to her private hosting and mentorship of UVM students visiting the nation's capital, Kristina has proven herself a tireless and humble volunteer who always answers the call to support her alma mater.
Kristina graduated Magna Cum Laude from UVM with a bachelor's degree in Political Science/ History in the College of Arts and Sciences and went on to earn her law degree at Georgetown University. At UVM she was recognized for her leadership and accomplishments in many ways: Gold Key Society, Mary Jean Simpson Award, Mortar Board, Tower Society, and Phi Beta Kappa- Lifetime. As an alumna Kristina was awarded the Outstanding Young Alumni Award. Currently Kristina is Vice President, Government Affairs, Americas for Medtronic and lives in Washington, DC.
