About the award:
Presented to alumni in recognition of outstanding scientific or academic achievement.
Nominees should meet the following criteria:
Nominee must be a graduate of the Larner College of Medicine.
Demonstrated impact of research on the scientific community, industry, public policy, or society.
Contributions to advancing medical education through mentorship, curriculum development, or academic service.
Significant contributions to scientific knowledge, research, or innovation.
Nomination Process
Who can nominate?
Alumni, faculty, staff, students, family members, and friends of the university are encouraged and welcome to submit nominations. Self-nominations are also accepted.
Required Materials:
The nominator should submit a typed and dated letter explaining how the nominee exemplifies the award criteria and spirit of the award. We encourage nominators to include specific examples, accomplishments, and evidence of impact.
Optional Supporting Materials
Additional Letters of Support
Additional nomination or support letters may strengthen a nomination file but are not required. Nomination files remain active for five years and may be updated over time.
Supplemental Materials
Supporting materials may include news articles, résumés or CVs, award announcements, publications, LinkedIn profiles, or other materials that provide additional context about the nominee’s accomplishments and impact.
