Presented to alumni who have graduated within the past 15 years, in recognition of their outstanding community or College service, scientific, or academic achievement.

Nominees should meet the following criteria:

• Nominee must be a graduate of the Larner College of Medicine who graduated within the past 15 years

• Demonstrated exceptional commitment to serving local, national, or global communities.

• Notable accomplishments in research, innovation, discovery, or scholarly activity.

• Evidence of exceptional achievement early in the nominee’s career.

Nomination Process

Who can nominate? 

Alumni, faculty, staff, students, family members, and friends of the university are encouraged and welcome to submit nominations. Self-nominations are also accepted.

Required Materials:

The nominator should submit a typed and dated letter explaining how the nominee exemplifies the award criteria and spirit of the award. We encourage nominators to include specific examples, accomplishments, and evidence of impact.

Optional Supporting Materials

Additional Letters of Support

Additional nomination or support letters may strengthen a nomination file but are not required. Nomination files remain active for five years and may be updated over time.

Supplemental Materials

Supporting materials may include news articles, résumés or CVs, award announcements, publications, LinkedIn profiles, or other materials that provide additional context about the nominee’s accomplishments and impact.
