Outstanding Young Alumni
This award recognizes recent graduates making an early impact in their communities and professions.

Established in 1979, this award honors alumni who graduated within the past ten years and have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the University of Vermont through volunteer service or have achieved notable success in their profession or life's work, reflecting a strong commitment to the University's mission.
Nominees should demonstrate:
Exceptional Early Achievement: Distinguished success and leadership in their chosen field or endeavors, reflecting significant impact within a relatively short time since graduation.
Service to UVM and Beyond: Dedicated personal service to the University of Vermont through volunteerism, advocacy, or support that advances the mission of the institution, as well as meaningful contributions to their communities or professions.
Commitment to Excellence and Integrity: A record of perseverance, ethical leadership, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Inspiration and Promise: Serve as role models for current and future alumni, embodying the energy, ambition, and engagement that define UVM’s next generation of leaders.
