Mark your calendars for the 2026 Larner College of Medicine Reunion, which will take place from October 2 - 4 in conjunction with UVM Weekend. Campus will be alive and hopping with activities for alumni!
We’re excited to welcome alums back to Burlington for a memorable weekend of celebration, reflection, and reconnection. The schedule will be filled with opportunities to catch up with classmates, revisit campus, and celebrate the incredible journeys you’ve all taken since your time here.
All alumni are encouraged to come home to campus this fall. We will be celebrating class gatherings for medical alums returning from the classes of 2016 (10th), 2001 (25th), 1986 (40th), 1976 (50th) and alums from our Green & Gold Classes (post-50th). A preliminary reunion schedule is anticipated to be made available online by late June of 2026 with registration anticipated to go live by early August. Reunion is a Catamount tradition! All alumni are welcome to attend, regardless of their
Class Year. In 2026, we expect to specially celebrate returning alums in class years
ending in ’1 or ’6 who are also celebrating their 10th, 25th, 40th, and 50th milestone
reunions – as well as returning members of our Green and Gold Society.Reunion will be October 2-4, 2026 in Burlington, Vermont and will take place in
alignment with UVM WeekendReunion is free to attend!
Everyone wants to visit Vermont during peak foliage, so we encourage you to book
your lodging reservations now! Information about a range of Burlington area lodging

online. There is a diverse array of lodging options in the Greater Burlington area –
with more coming online regularly. Rather than offer “hotel blocks,” we simply
encourage all alums to book early and do so based on the option that’s best suited to

is to reconnect with their classmates. A number of our medical alums also hold

their time and talent to the ongoing success of the next generation of UVM

students. For these reasons, we are enhancing your experience by folding the
weekends together into one weekend of signature programming.For some time, the UVM Foundation has been monitoring alumni participation in
key Reunion Years. This included conducting an alumni engagement survey in 2024,
which helped identify those milestone medical reunions with a greater resonance
for our alums. Our observations in recent years – both qualitative and quantitative –
indicate that these are the milestone reunions most likely to resonate with the most
UVM medical alums and inspire them to return to campus in higher numbers.We proudly celebrate any medical alum in a class year beyond the 50th Reunion as a
member of the Green & Gold Society. For 2026, any medical alum who graduated in
1975 or earlier is considered a member of the Green & Gold Society.While reunion events will be designed with milestone reunion classes in mind, many scheduled campus activities are open to all alumni, from opportunities to hear from the Dean and/or faculty to the campus-wide Rally’s Rally– where hundreds of UVM alums from various schools and Colleges are anticipated to be gathered on Saturday, October 3rd in advance of the home soccer game.
